Toronto Area
Type of Employment: Full time – Permanent
Estimated Start Date: As soon as possible
Job Description:
Load truck with construction materials
Unload and transport equipment and materials, deliver to jobsites
Sand/ Grind floor sweep area
Assist with new flooring installation
Drive to and from job sites
Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
Requirements:
Education: No formal education is required.
Experience: Experience is an asset; on-the-job training will be provided.
Construction specialization: Industrial, commercial and institutional.
Experience with industrial flooring, trowel work, terrazzo, floor grinding is a strong asset.
Valid G or G2 Driver’s License is required to drive to different job sites.
Weight handling: Up to 50 lbs
Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, attention to detail,
handling heavy loads
Personal Suitability: No criminal record, Team Player
Language: Basic level of English is required. Spanish is an asset.
Salary: $22 hourly, 30-40 hours per week.
Benefits:
Transportation costs covered if the worker needs to relocate. PPE provided (All that the employee needs for the optimal
performance of their work, except boots)
Important Information:
Position requires flexibility in scheduling, shifts from Monday to Friday from 7-8am to 4:00 pm, overtime, weekends as
needed. Minimum 30 hours of work, guarantee during winter time.
Work locations may vary. Frequent or constant travel is required from the employee.
